Each year, Grandma gives Nicola and Michael the same number of sweets, shared in the ratio of their ages.

This year Nicola is 5 and Michael is 4 – and Nicola is upset to find she got 5 fewer sweets than last year (when she was 4 and Michael was 3).

Question:

How many sweets does Grandma give each year?

Drop your answers in the comments  and let’s see who can crack it!

(Perfect practice for ratio and proportion — just like we cover in tuition sessions! )
